Meet the happiest, leggiest, most sweet cops in Tokyo, the Miniskirt Police. The Miniskirt police (Minisukapolice) started as a late night sketch on Japanese TV in the mid 1990s. The show initially featured sexy japanese models wearing blue police uniforms and miniskirts (you might recognize their blue police uniforms from fetish shops and love hotel costume order catalogs :) ),  who “arrested” men who had double-parked or jay-walked, etc. The sketch evolved into a typical late night TV show had become very popular by the late 1990s and was used as a stepping stone by many aspiring models to enter the gravure idol world.
However, the show faced the same cancellation fate as many other late night TV shows in the early 2000’s,  but later evolved into a direct-to-video porn concept. Current members of Miniskirt police are Yuki Hirano, Mako Serizawa, Hatsune Matsushima, Kaori Ishijima, Noriko Kawa.
